I was discussing some topic with a colleague, and he said “and what about the Apple Man?”

“The Apple Man?” I asked.

Apparently, in German (my colleague hails from Germany) Apple Man, or Apfelmännchen, is the word used for the Mandelbrot Set.

Apple Cutting Puzzle

When I cut an apple for my kids, I normally cut it into 6 pieces. I give the biggest piece to my younger son, since he insists on only eating one piece, but I want him to eat more apple.
