Have you always loved the game called Dots And Boxes?<\/p>\n

I decided to do a write-up of this old favorite for Spoonful.com<\/a>, then thought “Hey, this would be good on my math games website, too!”<\/p>\n

So now, you can read my write-up of Dots And Boxes<\/a> on Dr Mike’s Math Games for Kids. I’ve written up the rules, some strategy tips, and made some printable game sheets to download (so you don’t have to draw a whole bunch of new dots at the start of each game).<\/p>\n

Dots and Boxes is a simple game to learn, but it can keep you engaged for a long time if you find an opponent of similar strength to your own. While I was writing it up, the whole family started playing, using up all my test printouts! If you’ve never heard of Dots and Boxes before, pop over to the site, learn the rules, then find a friend to play with. If you’re already an expert, try using some of these unusual graph paper sheets<\/a> as game sheets instead. Dots and Hexagons, anyone?<\/p>\n
