Soon, I&#8217;ll upload them to the site, but in the meantime,\u00a0I&#8217;ll share them here. Both games are great for groups of kids, so they&#8217;d be perfect for a classroom situation.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The first game is for younger kids<\/strong>, and goes like this:<\/p>\n<p>* Put the kids into two teams<br \/>\n* Get the teams to line up, so you have two lines of kids.<br \/>\n* Call out a <span class=\"il\">time<\/span> &#8211; eg, 3:30 or 11 o&#8217;clock or quarter past 9<br \/>\n* the kids have to form that <span class=\"il\">time<\/span> with their arms.<br \/>\n* Whoever does it correctly gets a point for their team<br \/>\n* Then, they go to the back of their team&#8217;s line, ready for the next player to try.<\/p>\n<p>The second game is<strong> a variant of &#8220;What&#8217;s the time, Mr Wolf&#8221;<\/strong>, but for older kids:<\/p>\n<div>* Choose one child to be Mr Wolf (or Miss Wolf)<\/div>\n<p>* You write on a poster or whiteboard where everyone can see &#8211; &#8220;Dinner <span class=\"il\">time<\/span> is 3:15&#8243;<br \/>\n* The kids approach Mr\/Miss Wolf from behind, and ask &#8220;What&#8217;s the <span class=\"il\">time<\/span>, Mr (Miss) Wolf!&#8221;<br \/>\n* You answer on behalf of the wolf &#8220;it&#8217;s 4 hours past 7 o&#8217;clock!&#8221; or &#8220;it&#8217;s 270 minutes before quarter to eight!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When the time you call is dinnertime, it&#8217;s time for Mr\/Miss Wolf to catch his or her dinner!<\/p>\n<p>If you want other resources on time-related topics, my website already has some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dr-mikes-math-games-for-kids.com\/tell-time-worksheets.html\"><strong>time worksheets<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dr-mikes-math-games-for-kids.com\/timetable-worksheets.html\"><strong>timetable worksheets<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And now for something completely different: a few of the articles I&#8217;ve written recently:<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"http:\/\/spoonful.com\/family-fun\/nine-cool-math-games\">Nine Cool Math Games You Can\u00a0Play With Your Kids<\/a><br \/>\n* <a href=\"http:\/\/spoonful.com\/recipes\/kitchen-math-baking-session-math-lesson\">Kitchen Math: A Baking Session\u00a0Math Lesson<\/a> &#8211; an opportunity to show kids that math is useful in everyday life<br \/>\n* <a href=\"http:\/\/spoonful.com\/family-fun\/hidden-mickeys-at-the-beach\">Hidden\u00a0Mickeys At The Beach<\/a> a perception puzzle &#8211; finding Hidden\u00a0Mickeys in beach scenes<br \/>\n* <a href=\"http:\/\/spoonful.com\/family-fun\/make-stilts\">How To Make A Pair Of Stilts<\/a> I made some stilts for my kids.
