Holiday time is approaching!<\/p>\n

I’m starting a brand new site of games –\u00a0Dr Mike’s Word Games for Kids<\/a>. It’s really too early to launch it yet, but the first two games on there are great games for the holiday season.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If you’re going on a long car trip with young kids, you can while away some hours with a game of\u00a0I Spy With My Little Eye<\/a>. The page has some tips for how to make this game accessible even for younger kids who haven’t started to learn how to spell. And do drive safely.<\/p>\n

When you get where you’re going, and you’re indoors with friends, you might like to\u00a0try a game of Snabble<\/a>. Also called Snatch Scrabble, this is a fast-paced annagramming game that just needs a set of Scrabble Tiles to play.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget that\u00a0Dr Mike’s Math Games for Kids<\/a>\u00a0has a free, printable\u00a0Advent Calendar<\/a>. If you were thinking of getting one but haven’t had the time, visit the site now to download, print and make up your own.<\/p>\n

Speaking of saving time, a lot of people find online shopping a lifesaver. Now I don’t have an online shop, we’ve posted a few<\/a>\u00a0things<\/a>\u00a0on<\/a>\u00a0Zazzle.com<\/a>. And, of course,\u00a0Amazon.com<\/a>\u00a0has an enormous range of stuff, including\u00a0educational games<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Or, if you have more time and less money, people will appreciate something unique and creative that you make. There are a zillion ideas out there on the net, let me just point to a couple on my site : the\u00a0Fraction Dominoes<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Printable Board Games<\/a>.<\/p>\n
