Here’s how my four-year-old responded when I threw him a curly math question – it’s cute!<\/p>\n

We were trying to teach him to count backwards…<\/p>\n

Before zero is.... rocket blaster!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Me : What’s the number before two?
\nHim : One!
\nMe : Right! So what’s the number before 12?
\nHim : You didn’t say ‘before one!’
\nMe : All right, what’s the number before one?
\nHim : Zero!
\nMe : That’s right!<\/p>\n

Then, he starts talking about something else, so I interrupt<\/p>\n

Me : You didn’t say ‘before zero!’
\nHim : Before zero??
\nMe : Yes. What’s the number before zero?
\nHim : (various strange facial expressions, then) Before zero is ‘rocket blaster!!’<\/p>\n
