Highway Jam is a puzzle game where you have to get a car from one end of a long highway to the other. It's based loosely on the famous Traffic Jam Game. Each time you move a car, it uses up fuel, but you can refuel along the way.
If you want a more traditional Traffic Jam Game, this website has several - there's an online jam game, a printable traffic jam game, or you can also get versions for your PC or Mac or pop over to Amazon.com to get one you can hold in your hands.
As I said, Highway Jam gave you something different from the plain vanilla traffic jam game. There was a whole highway to get through - seven highways in fact. Your score depended on how far you got.
Sadly, Traffic Jam Highway is no longer available in the app store.
The seven highways were :
- Beginner Boulevard - easy/moderate puzzles, for learning the ropes of the game
- Average Avenue - moderate puzzles, for when you've got the hang of the game
- Challenge Crescent - moderate/harder puzzles
- Difficult Drive - tough puzzles
- Frustrating Freeway - tougher puzzles
- Exasperating Expressway - the toughest puzzles of this kind, barring only
- Horrible Highway - this collected together all the most difficult puzzles my computer could come up with!
