Monday Morning Math is late this week, but for a good reason – I was rushing to finish the new version of my online traffic jam game!
Traffic jam game is a popular puzzle game, where you try to move a red car out of a packed parking lot. The online traffic jam game was one of the earliest games on my website, Dr Mike’s Math Games for Kids, and was for many years the most popular.
However, gradually I noticed that the computer code building blocks from which I’d made the game were no longer working on modern computers. The game was melting away, like a beautiful snow sculpture dripping away on an early spring day. Many people were coming to the site to play the game, and finding that it just wouldn’t work.
Now, though, I have a new version! This one will work on any modern computer. If it doesn’t work on your computer, you should think about upgrading your web browser.
The new version has over 200 puzzles for you to try, organised into 21 collections.
Warning! It’s a highly addictive puzzle for all ages!
